The shop, total, category and date fill themselves in. Change anything that looks off.

It lands in the right account and budget, and everyone in your workspace sees it.

Paste bank texts too: Got an SMS or email from your bank? Paste it and Kinance turns it into an entry the same way.
Category suggestions as you type: Typing an entry yourself? Kinance suggests the category from the description.
Photos aren’t kept: The image is read, then discarded. Only the entry you save is stored.
Fair daily limits: Up to 40 receipt scans and 60 text imports per person per day, more than a busy household needs.

Which receipts work?

Printed shop and restaurant receipts photographed flat and in focus work best. You always check the result before saving.

Who reads the receipt?

Kinance sends the photo to Google’s Gemini service to read it, under its API terms, and doesn’t keep the photo. See the privacy policy for details.
