Log as you go
Every entry from anyone in the workspace counts toward the right budget.
Get a heads-up
At 80% you see a warning, and again if a budget goes over.

Sub-categories: Split Groceries into weekly shop and snacks, or School into fees and uniforms.
Kids’ limits: Parents can set a spending limit on a category in a kid’s app, like games or treats.
One month at a glance: The dashboard shows what came in, what went out and what’s left, for the workspace or one account.
Personal and shared: Keep a budget in your personal workspace, and shared ones in the family workspace.

Do budgets need the Family plan?

Budgets are in both plans. Sharing them with other people needs Family.

How do alerts work?

Kinance checks each budget as entries come in and shows an alert at 80% and when a budget is over.
